Becoming a Referral Agent
Are you a licensed real estate sales associate? Do you need a place to "hang" your license until you are ready to work "full time" listing and showing property? Are you interested in earning referral fees without having to list and show property? Are you interested in getting paid as a real estate associate without having to pay out all of those association fees and going through even more training?
If any one or more of the above are true for you then perhaps it would be worth your time to consider joining our company as a "Referral Agent". The basics of the program are this:
You must be a licensed real estate sales associate
You must maintain your post and continuing education requirements
You do not have to join NAR, FAR, NEFAR and NEFAR MLS
You do not have to take time out for additional company training for new agents
You pay a $50 annual fee UNLESS over the course of a year you provide 3 accepted written referrals OR earn $500 or more in referral fee income.
You earn a referral fee on anyone you refer through us who buys or sells real estate ANYWHERE (not just in North Florida). The referral fee is typically 25% and you split that with the broker. For example, you refer someone (in writing) through our system and they buy a home in North Carolina for $300,000 and the commission to the buying side broker is 3% (or in this case $9,000), if the referral fee is 25% ($2,250 in this case), then you would earn $1,125, all for a phone call or two and completing a simple form.
